The Roman ruins of Hadrian’s Library in Athens, Greece. Hadrian’s Library was built in AD 132 by Roman Emperor Hadrian. In the following centuries, it was severely damaged, rebuilt, and then shared the site with multiple churches, all of which have remains at the site.
