Ladybugs Jigsaw Puzzle

Ladybugs Jigsaw Puzzle

This jigsaw puzzle features a cluster of ladybugs. Ladybugs got their name in Britain where they were called Our Lady’s Bird. This is because Mary was often painted wearing red, and her joys and sorrows were represented by the spots. Ladybugs are one of the most valuable insects known. Many organic farmers  buy these by the thousands to turn loose in their gardens. There, they devour aphids, which are their favorite food, though they also consume pollen. Even their larvae will dine on aphids by crushing them with sharp jaws and sucking delicious aphid juice. Children can order the larvae as educational pets, and watch them change.
