This jigsaw puzzle shows a scrapbook page from Boston Library’s William Tupper collection. William Tupper kept photos and notes of his travels in the 1890s in scrapbooks. The scrapbook page in this jigsaw puzzle shows the Sphinx as it appeared when Tupper saw it. Note that, unlike today, the body of the Sphinx is still mostly buried in this photo.
