Many think of Earth as a place full of happiness and humiliation, pleasure and pain, success and stress, and many other deeply polarizing feelings and experiences. It boasts of promises and disappointment, dreams and unrealized hopes, and possibility and inescapable failure. In this jigsaw puzzle, though, earth appears as a quiet, serene orb immune to the pressures of performance, production, and perfection. It is truly just land and sea and nothing in between. It sits quietly in the depths of the Milky Way galaxy, nestled away in some dark reach of the universe. In short, Earth is simple, and it is good.
