The Porsche Company has altered some of the tire compounds in the newest models and reports that the tire pressure monitoring system has developed considerably more accuracy. The 911 has always proudly demanded attention with its graceful, athletic curves that are typically stretched tightly over large tires. The rear fenders have been widened by about sixty millimeters, which has created more than enough space for the standard alloy wheels that are on the Turbo design. The Carrera 4S is heavier than previous models by about a hundred pounds, and the standard nineteen-inch wheels and tires could be a main reason why.
