The red fox is a beautiful, resourceful animal that has its home around the world. They are very adaptable and can live in many different regions and climates, from forests and grasslands to suburban areas and mountains. One reason for the red fox’s adaptability is its varied diet. They will eat small rodents, fruit, frogs, worms and vegetation. Of course, if given the opportunity they will forage human food from trashcans and pet food.
The pair of red foxes shown in this jigsaw puzzle were busy playing in southeastern Pennsylvania when they suddenly took an interest in the photographer setting up for the shot.
