Steamtown is a National Historic Site located in downtown Scranton, Pennsylvania. It was created in 1986 to keep the history of steam railroads in America (especially the era between 1850 and 1950) alive. This jigsaw puzzle depicts Steamtown’s railyard on a beautiful day in autumn–a season when the park is open to visitors. The park opens daily 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. most of the year with hours varying in the winter. Much railway knowledge can be gained from a visit to this beautiful park and its museums. There are plenty of activities (including short excursions on the giant steam trains) to entertain the entire family.
