The zebra is an African mammal that is most closely related to the horse. While zebras are generally very social animals, they have never been officially domesticated. With distinctive black and white stripes that are unique to each and every zebra, these patterns are used to identify each member of society in the African safari. The zebra in this jigsaw puzzle was spotted at the Kruger National Park in South Africa and is classified as a plains zebra. With three species of zebra and over 8 subspecies, these animals are very diverse and closely related to humans in personality and behaviors.
